LinkedIn expands its user base by 600 million people by launching in Hindi.

LinkedIn has launched in Hindi, making it the first Indian regional language on the platform to accommodate the 600+ million individuals who speak Hindi around the world.

Why Is This Important Step Forward For LinkedIn?

LinkedIn’s member base in India has increased by more than 20 million people in the last three years, making it a key growth market for the company (15 percent year-over-year growth Since the pandemic, there has been a significant increase in engagement and conversations on LinkedIn in the India market.

Users will be able to access their feed, profile, jobs, messaging, and create content in Hindi on desktop, as well as on their Android and iOS phones, as part of the “Phase 1” launch of LinkedIn in Hindi. LinkedIn says that in the coming phases, it will work to broaden the range of job opportunities available to Hindi-speaking professionals.

In addition, LinkedIn will continue to add more Hindi publishers and creators in the coming weeks in order to increase member engagement and conversations in Hindi
